Aisha jamila hinds was born in America and is most well-known for her performance on The Shield. Her versatility has been demonstrated through 2003 when she has delivered amazing performances on television shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. As of 2005 she received attention in the first place for her portrayal of Anna as Anna in Assault on Precinct 13 The film was her character as Fannie Lou (a feminist activist for women's right to rights) on the biographical All the Way film that brought her fame as an actor. Hind's portrayal as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's historical drama Underground was also highly praised. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television have renewed the third season of 9-1-1. Hind has completed filming in the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is scheduled to release in the middle of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj is a senior Army scientist who passed away on in March of 2017. The mother Vrinda was a homemaker. Her older brother is Aditya Rai who works as an engineer in the merchant navy. Bachchan's brother co-produced and co-wrote the film Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. Her family relocated to Mumbai, where she was a student at Arya Vidya Mandir. She finished her secondary education in Jai Hind College for a year prior to enrolling in D.G. Ruparel College Matunga was where she earned a score of 90% in her H.S.C. exams. She took classical music classes and dance for five years in her teens. Her passion was for studying zoology. Bachchan was a student studying architecture when she won the title of Miss World in 1994. This title was a boost to her career in the model industry. Her lucrative roles for PepsiCo Inc. & Vogue magazine and her deal as a spokesmodel to L'Oreal Paris were all rewarded in 2003. The first two films in her professional career were Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya and Iruvar. Bachchan was thrust to the front in New Bollywood after both films disrupted the established structure of Bollywood movies at that time. Bachchan became the Queen of Bollywood with her portrayal of Paro the betrayed lover in Devdas, (2002). Devdas was one of Bollywood's most successful films. It also was the first movie to be shown at Cannes Film Festival. The following year she won praise for her performance as Chokher Bali (2003) a tense drama that was based on Rabindranath Tagore's book. The same year, she was also the sole Indian actress on the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan appeared as Bride and Prejudice, a dance and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Gurinderchadha. Bachchan brought both her star-power and her beauty to her major English film. In the months before releasing Provoked: A True Story 2006 in English, she went back to Bollywood for a role as a co-star in Dhoom: 2 (2006 smash success). Abhishek Bachchan got married to her in April 2007. He's both a Bollywood star and regular co-star.
